Allergy Clinic

The clinic provides diagnosis and treatment for allergy or allergy-related diseases by specialists in allergy and immunity for both children and adult patient. The clinic helps you find the sources of allergy and provides you advice on how to stay clear of allergy.

Allergy can manifest in children and adult and more and more cases of allergy were found every day. This is the result of allergens, as well as co-factors of environment, dust, smoke, pollution, genetics, and foods. All of these factors stimulate allergy. Allergic reaction can be found from to be mildly irritation that does not affect daily life, to sever, life-threatening allergic reaction that can lead to death.

Allergy-related diseases
- Cough, sneeze, allergic reaction to weather, nasal irritation, and running nose
- Asthma
- Skin rash and uticaria
- Food allergy (rash, vomit, and diarrhea)
- Allergic reaction at the eyes, including tears and frequent eyes inflammation
- Chronic sinus inflammation

If you have any of these symptoms, you should meet with the doctor as soon as possible, in order to find the cause or allergen. This will allow you to evade from such allergens.

Allergens test
1. Skin Prick Test; this test can be done easily on your skin, and the result can be obtained within 15 minutes. 
2. Challenge Test; this test can verify whether you are allergic to suspected allergens or not, and can be done by ingestion, injection or application of the allergens to your skin. The test will be run from small dose to higher dose later. This test will be closely supervised by the doctor.
3. Blood test; this test will be used for the case where it is not possible to stop receiving current medicine, or if any indication of allergy was found.

When you have any of the aforementioned allergic reaction, you should meet the doctor and get the test done to find out what are you being allergic to. This is because some allergens can cause severe, life-threatening reaction.
