In year 2019, Thonburi Trang is proud to have the installation of Biplane angiography system enhance the capabilities of medical treatment and also providing the cutting edge technology for diagnosis and treatement. This angiography system can be used to diagnose and perform Coronary angioplasties and coronary interventions in various parts of the body such as coronary, cerebrovascular and blood vessels of adomen, arm, leg and etc.
In case of patient has narrowed or blocked blood vessel(s), hence angioplasty can be performed as a procedure to restore blood flow. The physician threads a wire with the balloon through a blood vessel, and then inflate the balloon to push the plague outwards and widen the blood vessels. Stents can be permanently left in place to allow blow to flow more freely. Common procedures performed at TRPH such as percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), Coronary Angiogram (CAG), Cerebral angiography, Mechanical thrombectomy, etc.
Moreover, Angiography system can also be used for cancer treatment such as transarterial chemoembolization (TACE).
